We use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how people move through Settled and where they get stuck. We never send the name of the person who died, the names of heirs, any address, any document, anything you ask the assistant, or any amount from the estate.
Analytics is currently on. It tells us in aggregate which parts of the app people use and where they get stuck. You can turn it off any time.
This choice is stored on .settledestate.com, so it covers settledestate.com and this app together.
What we do send
- Which page types you visit, and in what order.
- Which state the plan is for.
- Whether steps like starting a plan or opening the paid plan happened, and when.
- How many assistant questions were asked, never what any of them said.
